Charlotte was so excited about her summer wedding and was the most organised Bride I’ve ever met!  At Charlotte’s trial she explained to me what type of make-up she would like and showed me photographs of the make-up looks she liked.  From listening to Charlotte and looking at her eye colour and flawless skin and her wedding dress style and jewellery,  i advised of using a lovely MAC rose gold colour to keep her eyes smokey but also lightened to emphasise her beautiful dark brown eyes.  I also applied some express lashes on Charlotte to make her eyes look bigger and defined for her photographs.  The Airbase Airbrush foundation was applied and it looked stunning on Charlotte’s skin and she advised me later that she didn’t need to top up with any make-up during the day or night (apart from lipstick). I used a MAC lipstick in a purple/pink colour to compliment the eye make-up and also her MAC pinky blusher on her cheeks.

Nicola wanted to keep her make-up very flawless & natural for her wedding day but focusing on her lovely eyes.  I used an Estee Lauder foundation for Nicola’s base as she liked a totally matte finish to her face and then i applied a lovely peachy coloured MAC matte blusher to highlight her cheekbones.  I kept Nicola’s eyes cool and smokey with the MAC eyeshadows in smokey silvers and greys and Nicola wanted me to use some of her own silver glitter eyeshadow on her eyes as it was what attracted her ‘husband-to-be’ to her when they first met! I used a cool lipstick/gloss colour by Laura Mercier to compliment her summer look.

I met lovely Joanne at a wedding fair in York and we chatted about wedding make-up and her wedding plans.  I gave Joanne some information about the Airbase Airbrush Foundation and she couldn’t wait to try it! Joanne’s wedding had a 50’s vibe to it and red lipstick was a must!! Joanne had a beautiful white tea length wedding dress, which we all loved-its so lovely to see different wedding styles! I kept Joanne’s make-up very flawless and matte to compliment her lovely skin and emphasised her eyes with a MAC black fluid liner and flicks, which made her blue eyes even bigger! I used Joanne’s favourite MAC red lipstick to complete the 50s look.

Vicky will admit that she was last minute in contacting me for wedding make-up! I think I did her trial a couple of weeks before her wedding date!  Sometimes this happens, some Brides are already confident at applying their own make-up and some Brides are scared that they will look ‘caked in make-up’ if a professional make-up artist did it?! this isn’t true of myself, I like to listen to what the Bride actually wants and what make-up they use on a day to day basis.  It’s amazing with experience how we all define ‘natural make-up’… Vicky was a little bit scared as she didn’t wear a lot of make-up but her amazing photographer Dominic Wright  advised her to have her make-up applied professionally as it makes such a difference on the photographs.  I used the Airbase Airbrush foundation on Vicky to compliment her flawless matte skin.  It was a good foundation choice too as it was another boiling day and i had every confidence that her make-up would stay in place from morning to night! I used a lovely MAC rose gold eyeshadow on Vicky to lighten up her lovely eyes & for extra definition I used my favourite amazing Eyelure strip lashes! Vicky likes her black eyeliner so I didn’t want to leave that out as Brides should still look like themselves on their wedding day! A lovely MAC peachy mineralise blusher was added and extra Hoola contouring to define her beautiful cheek bones and a MAC peachy pink lipstick was applied to finish the look.

Becky wanted to keep her day as relaxed and low-key as possible and wanted to show off her York roots by having her wedding photos taken around the stunning York landmarks. Becky has beautiful youthful, glowy skin (its because of all of her Temple Spa products that she uses)! It was very easy for me to apply her make-up as she has a perfect complexion – I chose the Airbase Airbrush Foundation for Becky to compliment her skin and also because the weather was boiling that March day and I knew it would last her upto 15 hours in the heat! I applied a MAC cool mink colour to give Becky’s  eyes a smokey look and highlighted her beautiful cheek bones with a MAC mineralize blusher in a gold/coral colour. Express eyelashes were applied to give more definition on her eyes and a Laura Mercier waterproof brown liner was applied too. I finished the look with a peachy lipstick to compliment her spring wedding look.
